My name is Thekgo Hector Kgomo, and I was born on March 21, 2003, in Mpumalanga, South Africa. I currently live in Mbombela, Mpumalanga, where I’m completing a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Mpumalanga.

My studies focus on Culture and Heritage, which sparked my deep interest in archaeology. I plan to pursue postgraduate studies in archaeology starting in 2025. I grew up in Hazyview, a town about an hour from the capital city of Mpumalanga. I completed my early schooling there and then moved to Nelspruit for high school and university. During my time at the University of Mpumalanga, I’ve earned multiple academic distinctions and participated actively in sports teams, which have strengthened my academic profile and helped me improve my social skills.

I’m passionate about learning new skills and believe in the importance of pursuing what makes you happy. My hobbies include exploring tech, playing sports, and spending time outdoors. These interests add balance to my life and keep me grounded.

Looking forward, I’m excited to delve deeper into archaeology and to contribute to the preservation of South Africa’s cultural heritage. I’m driven by the opportunity to use my skills and knowledge to explore and understand the past.
