Research title: Exploring Paleontological and Geological Field Method Training at Koobi Fora Field School

Rahwa Gebrehiwet is lecturer at Samara University, Ethiopia. she earned her BSC in Geology from Samara University and her MSc in Paleontology from Addis Ababa university, her research was focused on Jurassic invertebrate and Paleo Environment.

She had participated in a major field work in Ledi Gararu project in Ethiopia and she is doing research focused on Quaternary Fresh water Mollusca and she will participate in koobi fora field project in Kenya. Her academic interest is including paleontology, Antro paleontology and geology. She is committed to advance Paleontological Research and Education especially to women’s those who have the ability but not the chance in the horn of Africa and capacity building in the region.
