Angela Effiom recently completed a Ph.D. in Palaeontology which was fully funded by Palaeontological Scientific Trust (PAST).

She is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Evolutionary Studies Institute, University of the Witwatersrand. Angela’s research focuses on the use of pollen grains in the reconstruction of past vegetation and inferences of past climate. She is enthusiastic about plant because without plants, there is no life.
